We're an independent theatre company, creative producer and arts charity based in Nottingham. We believe creativity is power.
Our story
In 2013 a group of graduate artists and theatre-makers came together to make a theatre company that was a little bit different. Nonsuch Theatre was born.
Since then we've created seven original productions that have toured the UK, worked with more than 20,000 people through community projects, and from 2019 to 2023 ran Nottingham's only independent fringe theatre.
In 2024 we moved into Broadway Cinema to focus on what we do best: producing new work and running community programmes across Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands.
